Un-Pinspired

Have you heard about the Pinterest Challenge?  4 of my favorite bloggers (Sarah, Katie, Sherry & Carmel) are hosting it.  You can read all the details here.

PINTEREST CHALLENGE

Sounds easy right?  Turns out I don’t really pin really “crafty” things.  The Pinterest Challenge ends in a week.  ONE WEEK to complete a pin.  It seems like all I post is rooms.  I love getting inspired by whole rooms.

Pinterest

I don’t have anything I can create in a WEEK.  So I don’t honestly know if I will participate in the challenge.  But I still want to.  Are you going to?  What pin are you planning on executing?  What do you think I should do?

Leave links to your favorite Pin-Crafts in the comments.  PLEASE & THANKS!

I’m planning something like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/115475177915030231/. Just type up whatever quote/saying you want in a nice font, print out, and trace onto thinnish fabric. If you just backstitch around the letters you could be done in maybe two hours. Then frame it in a vintage frame.

BTW, I found you through BAH, and you guys are my two favorite new bloggers.

Hi Tracie, Thanks for stopping by! Emma is like my new BFF too :) She is the best. I’m glad you are jumping in on this friendship. Do you have a blog? I’d love to follow it! I love that pin. It is super simple. Definitely something that can be done in a week.
      :)

Kenz you know how Grandma & Grandpa had that ‘room’ in the back with the hot-tub? This would reflect the water AWESOMELY (: Also TO THE SWEAR JAR! Haha ours has $^%#@*< written all over it in glitter.

Haha, that creepy as eff hot tub room. Was I the only one scared of that secret area? Email me pictures of your swear jar!!

          • Katiedid

Haha no it was creepy. But water reflecting off the mirrors would be cool. Maybe in a bathroom around the tub with candles! #relaxation I’ll send you pics soon! The jar is at Jers house & I’m down with the flu.

Thanks for all the suggestions! My favorite has to be those pillows. They are wonderful. And they would look good in the basement. I may have to do that
