Timber!!!

We Chopped Our Tree To The Ground… like bosses

Do you remember our yard crash?  If not… jog your memory here.  If you remember, I was waiting *anxiously* for our green waste dumpster to arrive, so that we could trash our hideous-big-ugly-purple-leaf-nuisance-natural-light-blocking of a tree.  I had to schedule the dumpster months in advance.  BUT it was free so I can’t complain.

It makes a world of difference having that tree gone.  You can actually see the detail in our house!  It looks soooo much better!  And the real difference is on the inside.  YOU CAN SEE LIGHT!  We have natural light, all. day. long.  It is incredible.  That tree was like a closed curtain on our window.

The boys lopped and lopped till there were no more branches hanging over the roof.  Thanks Reggie for holding Aaron’s pants up.

Honestly, this tree didn’t seem that big until we started taking it down.  Hot dang!

The crew.  I’m lucky the Crowders come from a long line of loggers.  I have my own little lumber jacks.  Cute.
