Happy Monday, Internet! If you’re like me, you have the day off work today. Bank holidays are a glorious thing.
Me and my girls from the DIY Action Squad (DIYAS for short) are ready to party today!

Whoever said Monday wasn’t a party day, never met the DIYAS. Partying on Mondays is so fetch.
As you remember, we decided that our projects would be $15 (or less) and could be completed in 15 minutes.
To be honest, this was a project I struggled with. I’m not into quickies. But I AM into makeshift temporary art. As you know, we are planning a big living room/dining room/kitchen reno. However, that doesn’t mean that I can’t have temporary art for my living room, right?
I had some old canvases with yellow chevron fabric from my ugly old bedroom. And I also had some new ikat fabric that was sitting in a closet, waiting for a last minute craft project.

I quickly pulled out the staples, like a dentist with a time limit, and called it the beginning of my project.

I wanted each canvas to have a different design from the fabric. Ya know, to keep things interesting and shiz.

Indy & Buster were banished to the other side of the Indy trap. You would have thought they were watching Snakes on a Plane with how serious their faces are.

After your fabric is cut, line your canvas up so it is even with the pattern. Then staple one side with a heavy duty stapler.

Do the exact same thing on the opposite side.

Everyone thinks corner are hard. They aren’t. If you can wrap a present, you can fold the fabric the correct way, and staple it. (I hope you aren’t one of those people who pays for Amazon to wrap your presents for you!)

Proceed to hammer and nail your walls and hang your art with dignity and pride.

That little rascal-dog. What a 2-bit floozie.

Now is the time you’ve all been waiting for… PPPPPPPARTY.
